Booth Guard #1
GUARD BOOTH: ACCESS CONTROL- 1 Security Guard
Guard Booth is located at the front entrance on 1366 East New York, Brooklyn, NY 11212.
This is a single Guard post primarily responsible for enforcing the access control measures of the establishment and portraying a professional and thorough security presence at the construction site. All new workers shall be required to report to the field office/site safety manager for orientation.
Guard #1 (SHIFTS 1 AND 3)
This Security/ Fireguard is primarily responsible for the following:
- Legal form of identification and all certifications must be on person and always displayed. (State ID/OSHA/Fireguard/Security License/Company ID)
- Must be in uniform compliance. (Hard hat, reflective vest, work boots, etc.)
- Always monitor all activity on the site and document observations as they happen in real time in Daily Activity Reports (DAR) via Officer Reports.
- Report all injuries to the designated site safety manager/coordinator or safety personnel. Incident Report is to be generated via Officer Reports at the conclusion of the investigation surrounding the injury incident.
- Maintain and administer sign in logs for all entries.
- Allow access for deliveries and equipment into the site while maintaining no access to the public or unauthorized personnel.
- Perform Scheduled Site, Building Patrols and Perimeter Checks through the entire site and building at regular intervals while scanning all QR codes.
- Follow all instructions as stated at each QR Code scan.
- In the event of an emergency, notify site manager and SJ Solutions Dispatch.
- All employees shall have the daily fire watch sheet filled out at each shift and return it to the FDNY readiness box daily. Or Place it into a binder which shall be accessible to the contractor at any time for inspection purposes.
- All employees shall take necessary measures to monitor the standpipe alarm and know what to do if the alarm sounds in off hours.
- Security Guard must return the hoist to the first floor before the start of their shift and insure it is on the ground floor at the end of the shift.
- All security employees shall always have the site gates always locked.
- Upon completion of work all reports and related documents must be submitted to Site Supervisor.
- Under no conditions will security be involved in offensive operations.
- Security understands and realizes that security starts at the exterior of the building sidewalks for the prevention of vandals and thieves entering the site. The guard on site shall maintain a constant patrol of the entire site interior at every floor and exterior of the building.
- The Security guard on site shall be always doing “detex” rounds continually all floors, exterior rear yard, frontage including the sidewalk and storage areas in the front and rear (park lane) of the building. Storage in the curb lanes and adjacent areas shall always have and maintain the detex system and phases of work.
- Security guard personnel will be entering and exiting the site premises only thru the turnstile.
- In the event of an emergency,the following is the protocol:
- Notify the Site Super and SJ Solutions Dispatch.
- Shall the standpipe go into alarm

- The Super shall contact the plumber – Christ - +1(347)957- 1832
- Call the local Fire Department at (800) 577-8477
- Call the Project Super – Christ - +1(347)957- 1832
- Provide in your security log the time that it went out of service and the time that it was back online. Contact the local fire station when the service is back online.

GUARD BOOTH: ACCESS CONTROL This is a single Guard post primarily responsible for enforcing the access control measures of the establishment and portraying a professional and thorough security presence at the construction site. All new workers shall be required to report to the field office/site safety manager for orientation. Only patrol areas of the construction site where it is absolutely safe. Do not enter or patrol areas where it is unsafe or additional Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is a requirement for construction contractors. Announce all visitors to site superintendent.
