Narcan Training
It is important that each person who is employed with us and is stationed at a shelter be trained in this
administration
of the medication. When seconds count…training can save lives. Knowing how and when to respond in an overdose
situation can prevent a death.
Due to the health concerns in relation to COVID-19 and as a matter of care for our community, NYC Health is providing
free and virtual naloxone trainings. Virtual training will cover steps for responding to an opioid overdose with
naloxone and will outline options for accessing an Overdose Response Kit in person or by mail.
Conflict Resolution
SJ Solutions Security & Protection Services Inc. has a firm “HANDS OFF” policy. This means at no time can a Guard be an aggressor during an altercation.

OSHA-authorized trainers issue student course completion cards to individuals who successfully complete an OSHA Outreach

industry, Maritime, and a 15-hour class for Disaster Site Worker. To obtain an OSHA card, an individual must attend and
successfully complete the entire class, including all requisite topics and the minimum number of contact hours.
