Duryea Place Shelter
Duryea Place Shelter is a Men's Shelter established by the DHS. It is located at 21 Duryea Pl, Brooklyn, NY 11226.
Duryea Place is located in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn and provides services for men 18 and older. This program is a 197 general population shelter that promotes growth, development and stability. Under the “good neighbor” policy this program fosters community relations and encourage residents how to integrate within any environment. In addition to intense case management service. This program promotes career development by hosting employment workshops, which consist of employment readiness, mock interviews, how to dress and speak for success. Health and Hygiene workshops.
Security Services are provided by SJ Solutions Security & Protection Services Inc.

Staircase B leads to the cellar and sub-cellar.

Each Floor has one elevator, one trash room, and one bathroom with multiple bathrooms and showers
4 stalls, 4 showers, and one Accessibly shower.
Rooms 201, 301, 401, 501 have 22 beds each.
Rooms 202, 302, 402, 502 have 20 beds each.
Six Floor:
This floor has one dorm one elevator, one trash room, and one bathroom with multiple bathrooms and showers
3 stalls, 2 showers, one Accessibly shower
Room 601 has 29 beds

Cafeteria 156 people
Small Recreation room (BVSJ Staff Lounge)
Office (Security Staff Lounge)
Bike Room (Possible coat room; recommend medicine room)
